Unfortunately, they might never touch the Caucasus again. Take a look at South Atlantic or Kola.

Caucasus map should be created from scratch, its an amazing landscpare and an awesome well known playground to the majority pilots of DCS.

ED should think about it. The current version, despite being a free map, should go with the latest standards of DCS maps.

I have the opposite wish, at least when beeing close to the mountain, especially when flying an heli.

You can see the straight lines of the polygons and hard edges.

On the sloping level you will see buildings, no one can live inside and streets no vehicle can ever use, because of the angle.

Edges of mountains should be much smoother, when you are close to them or realistic sharp. Yes, this would be an (massive) increase of the amount of polygons, however, after more than 15 years of DCS and the progress in PC hardware, we should be able to handle this. You can also do a lot with LOD.

Maybe I will add some screenshots later - but you probably all know what I mean.
