If we get updates in 10 years it's still after. Where was it said that updates would be provided immediately after F-4E release? Nowhere, so maybe some more patience is due, even if it's difficult for some. Updates will come when time is due.

I think it's better to be surprised on when it releases, than be given a release date which will be postponed 5 times

It's called "instant gratification". When updates worthy of being shared are available, they will. There's plenty other modules to play with 🙂

@Mike Force Team Brother, I know, I was just using the old joke we always use here. Not expecting this until at least 2026/27.

Don't put too much hope in these modules. The Bo-105 is more than 9 years and counting.

I am one of the loudest voices when it comes to announcements for modeules. I hate waiting as much as the next guy. Keep in mind buying a bunch of modules will not make you happy. I am only now after a few months getting comfortable with the Hornet. I still have the F-14 and A-10C II to learn (The AJS-37 and F-5E were super easy and I love them both very much). We have plenty of time, trust me.

Careful there, a lot of us waited 10 years for the SE. Although great in its debut, we now wait some more!

No one wants a half cooked release. Viggen, Tomcat, and Phantom were all worth the wait. Let Finke and the gang cook. Sure, they could give us updates, but at the same time? How exciting could screenshots of oceans of code exactly be?

That said, I honestly expect a word on EF soon. Just something tells me in a coming autumn/winter update, they'll mention it.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

I was asked by a friend the other day if I thought the EF was still a thing and if could expect it. I answered with confidence, it's a Heatblur module now as well, we'll see it. The fact that we're getting little info doesn't really matter, that's the usual status and fully understandable imo.

Like said before, there are so many other superb modules to play with, not just Heatblur ones but others as well. Personally, the Apache, Phantom and Viper as well as the Chinook are at the top of the list. I see the Viper as a superb way to learn more about the modern environment in which the EF will be a part. The better I get at the Viper then easier it will be with the EF.

This is my most anticipated module since the Apache to be honest, a modern day era delta wing. And created by Heatblur!

They said that they are working on it. That's about as much info as you're going to get until they get close to release. It's the same MO they took after getting bit in the A$$ by releasing a lot of phantom footage early, and then no Phantom. Radio silence until they are almost ready is to be expected. Everything else is just too much of a hassle for a small studio that works on modules in their "spare" time.

I for one have moved away from DCS, it got to a point where it was stress inducing instead of stress relieving with the amount of tweaking I had to do just to get in the air and enjoy a module properly, not to mention the fact that some of my modules are unsupported and no longer even work. This is not a dig at Heatblur at all, they work within the confines set by Eagle Dynamics and with how DCS World is setup. I am now lurking and waiting of the EF, which I decided will be my last module I purchase and try in DCS World.
