Good morning to all.

I know that this is a common topic, but I 've didn't find, in the forum, a unique solution and I'm a little noob. Is there someone that could give ,me an easy one? Or maybe could someone give me an advice if my follow way to procede is correct or not?

First of all I'm moving from WIN 10 to WIN 11 and I upgrade the pc in term of CPU and GPU essentially.

Except for all the things and programs that I've to install again to play...regarding DCS:

a) Create a copy of my Saved Games folder

b) ) Remove all my modules/Terrains from DCS (to have less GB to Download)

c) Download DCS from the site in the new PC

d) Re-install all mdoules and terrains that I have one by one in the new DCS

e) Copy my old DCS Saved Game in the new one

f) Hope that everything work...

Thanks in advance to all

Hi,

generally your way to transfer DCS to a new PC works. I personally simply copy DCS from one drive to the other, let a repair run and that's it. If you have it on your C drive this migth get hard because of the new Win 11 installation. But you could use an external drive to park DCS there.

Copying the Saved Games folder works in a good way, but your inputs might get broken because of new hardware IDs. Watch this thread for details: Link

I hope this helps and much fun with the new PC.
