On the second mission of the 4 horsemen campaign while flying on the optional portion of the mission of providing overwatch for the broken down vehicles I encountered two bugs. The first bug was on the first playthrough after I took the enemy out and my character never called the HLZ clear, the helo still came, landed the troops were still on the ground, and nothing happened further. The second time I took the enemies out, my character called the HLZ clear, the helicopter called inbound, the hero came and landed, the troops were never picked up, and nothing happened further.

I have experienced the same issue. Troops not being picked up and unable to complete the mission.  CH47 returns to FOB, I follow and land after CH47. Complete shutdown, end mission. Mission success doesn't register and I have to redo it again with same results.

Believe it to be fixed, just awaiting testing. 

 

If the fix works, I'll place M2 here so you can overwrite released version while awaiting official update

Good campaign - I'm enjoying it.  But I would echo CharFactor's post - the updated mission for me 'works' (CH-47 picks up troops, lands first, I land on designated spot etc)  but I get no mission success or score.

As i said to him mate, that seems like a core DCS issue, not a Four Horsemen specific one. I'd honestly report it to them. I've tested M2 lots since you guys kindly fed back issues and not had that problem at all
 

attaching a trk file with your reports will help then look into it

Fixed nothing to see here! With a big self-own LOL😳

 

The f10 map function wasn't working earlier but post patch it does.

Problems with Mission 6

Flying back after being cleared back once threats are neutralized and given cleared to land by batman tower, upon touchdown the ending sequence of mission complete isn't triggered and upon exiting mission is registered at 85 percent complete. 

Problems with Mission 7 

Wile RTB and being told to switch to batman tower, I'm unable to pull it up on the f10 menue or by hitting the space bar despite being on the correct frequency. Upon touchdown the ending sequence isn't triggered and mission complete doesn't appear resulting in 85 percent complete. 

 

In all missions so far the CPG enters wrong frequencies and causes routes to dissappear. This isn't a huge issue as I'm able to manually input frequency and turn routes back on.

Will try your updated mission today, thank you for that! Maybe you could add score 100 after the convoy tells you to RTB !? (just an idea, dont know if that helps with the core problem).

OK, so some of the points awarded are done so based on you landing back at FOB Batman (as you would in real life)

 

As for the no comms issue, please bear with me as i have sent fixes to many missions in this campaign to ED ready for the next patch release.

 

And thank you for your kind words, makes all the hard work worth while.

Mission 10 issue - spoiler alert!

Hi all,

Am finding this impossible to survive due to sniper AAA after the mortars problem is solved. Any thoughts? 

Overall, with the exception of the already reported glitches in Missions 2 and 8 I am loving this campaign!

Belly "Should" automatically sort that AAA IF ED fixed the AI engaging correctly in this patch.

 

But making attacks South to North will help

Hi~

Mission 8 Still problem DCS Update 297.58923.

Tornado is ShowForce is passed. after tornado is shot down ugly 5 is move to north of dam.

BUT AI Leader UGLY 5-1 is attack the south samsite.

The SA-3, SA-6, SA-2 samsite is 20nm south of DAM.

I think It isn't Normal. Please check this mission 8.

Cheers, I took out the first mortar,  and kept far to the north the AA popped up on FCR and I went evasive (might have red lined it LOL) took one hit but got away then got a message from Belly saying the AA had gone quiet so took out the second mortar with a rocket run. Everything else worked fine so moved forward to 11. That was insane, but that is another story. Amazing campaign. My tip for anyone playing this. FCR is your friend!  Love the Banter!   Ex RAF mate told me the tent in the room joke many years ago. Still made me laugh!

The bit about the GPMG is so true! 6ft 3 so I got the honour in OTC days.

Can I get a refund? I mean there's bugs and problems in almost every mission and if miss some marker the mission don't seem to make any sense. I just just flying mission 6 and saw firefighting ahead at DC, but got no radio messages. Killed the bad guys and started flying back when I get some messages that I should contact Widow.

I think there's lot's of problems on every mission and radio frequencies keep changing by themselves for whatever.... It's supposed to be fun flying these mission but now it's just frustrating.

wow i think you never tried any of those old campaigns? i mean some are really horrible in terms of triggers/bugs, but this one!? rly!?

I had 1 not firing trigger so far (just finished MIission 5) in Mission 2 which was fixed with the latest patch (and befor you could even download the fixed mission right here in the forum!).

What i do when flying:

a) set everything up and lift at time given (do able);

b) follow route as good as possible - you dont really have to stick to wp given hights from the briefing, but at least fly along the route; ((If you cant follow that, you might wanna relearn the aircraft before proceeding to "life fire" campaigns (not training campaigns)))

c) set freqs via com page manual and do NOT use presets (which is stated multiple times in briefing and campaign docs);

d) watch when it says "DATA", sometimes Foghorn likes to tinker with the pilots radio 😉 But it will say that in the top right (sth like "Foghorn will change freq to.........." and so on.

Only thing i couldnt rly get to work is the datalink, but haven spend much time on that tbh.

Maybe just re-fly and try to have fun. we dont have many campaigns in general and this one has been fine so far.

I will try Mission 6 now and report if i encounter said issue.
