Performance Question

I'm considering this map, and was wondering what the performance, and load times are like for this map?

I have an 2T ssd, 7800X3D, 7800xt, and 32 GB of RAM, monitor is 1080p, I play single player. I assume I would get decent performance, what do you guys think??

I know the map hasn't been updated since release, but I am considering it since it seems an update is coming "soon-ish".

If you can run Syria, then you should be more than fine with Sinai, especially in SP. This map can be described as 'Syria Lite': it looks simpler, but runs a bit smoother, and is less RAM-hungry.

My specs are somewhat worse than yours, and I was able to comfortably fly Apache over Cairo (hands down the most built-up area in DCS) in pre-DLSS era.

Although I would recommend waiting for the ever-coming Massive Sinai Update. Just to make sure they didn't push it too far with all the new stuff. I remember the devs themselves expressed concerns in that regard.

Stay in 2D. VR is a slideshow.

Storm - You must have some kind of PC issue.  For me VR performance is excellent, and my system is not top of the range.

Sinai is a very good-looking and promising map.

of course!

I can even run it on a i7 4790K with 80fps.
