drsoran Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Hi! I'm realtive new to BS and after some time training to fly and to use the systems I want to take up the hatchet and fly some of the delivered missons. Could anyone tell me which missons are good for beginners? I mean not so difficult to complete. Or has anyone seen some good learning missions? Thanks!
Distiler Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 The first campaign is a good one to start, and it's also very inmersive. I think it's named "Deployment". AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
Mugenjin Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2626185/STICKY_Tutorial_How_to_take_of.html#Post2626185| check the beginning to d/l the mission, it's really easy and there's even a quickstart to depict the most basic procedures (with pictures! :P ) to get things blown up.
xtaffy Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I placed the file in the missions folder but it will not load, any ideas what could be wrong
nemises Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 what is the file extention ?....if it is .miz, then you should just be able to save it wherever you like. On the blackshark GUI click the "Mission" button..this will bring up a dialogue box where on the right had side you can navigate to where the .miz file is stored...select the .miz file and then click the "open" button at the bottom right...
xtaffy Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) File extension renamed to .miz, placed in the correct folder, will open but just stays on the loading screen. There is another file named options that downloads also, what is this for? thanks for the advice. If I open the file in notepad it does not look like other .miz files Solved it, if using internet explorer rename the file to .miz before downloading then just place in the mission folder.
