After the latest update i get a box that informs me that  SU-25, A-10A, F-f15, and M-29 are not authorized. I go to module manager and select Flaming Cliffs 3 to install. It goes through the process of installing but does not Install. Do I have to upgrade to Flaming Cliffs 4 to get this to operate or what exactly. THX

PS Also some AC are not available on isntant action Kola  map. Is that just a work in progress or will some AC not be available there? Thanks again!

I was just browsing the forums and saw your post and wondered what your outcome was.

I haven't got an answer.

I did have FC3 but uninstalled DCS in 2022, then reinstalled it last month because of new AC in FC4.

I can't see a reason not to upgrade except it has a small cost. Also it seems there may be some content changes, eg there is an F15 mission, that I really enjoyed, that is not listed anymore.

So I don't know if you must upgrade to FC4 to keep using flaming cliffs but I'm curious if you were able to upgrade successfully m.

Guys, installation problems were explained in many other threads, ex. the one just below:

After the FC2024 release all FC3 owners were given individual (standalone) aircraft licenses. So there is no more FC3 module in DCS, look for the individual aircraft from the pack instead. If the module manager tells you have FC3 module avialable for install just ignore it, it won't install anything - it's a bug for ED to sort out. FC2024 is not needed if you just want to keep using your FC3 aircraft and also nothing new is there for FC3 aircraft. Since the individual modules did have a bit different set of Instant Action missions you might see some new positions in the menu. What mission is missing from F-15C, @csbwho ?

The maps do not come with any missions. It's the aircraft module developer who has to add missions, so it's normal and takes time to have some missions available for new maps. You can always use Create Mission menu or Mission Editor to fly any aircraft you want on your new map.

Authorisation problem is common issue because your antivirus software can detect and remove some DCS files as false positive or potentially dangerous. In case of such problems remove the DCS folders from a/v scanning and then run DCS repair: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/

If the FC3 was bought on Steam but is used on DCS standalone version now, go to your account on DCS website and rebind the Steam licenses again.

Thanks Drac for your informative advice in the OPs issue.

Regarding the missing mission, I was planning to start a post to try and get the particular miz file. I will pm you in a few days if i may.
