I was testing the sim to see if the bug reported by me in this post

 was solved or not.

It wasn't.

I created a mission and tested it with temperatures from -5ºC up to +5ºC.

I started the mission hot airbourne, to avoid not being able to start the second engine on the ground, due to the bug above.

When I landed the ENG START CYCLE turned ON, even if both engines were already running.

However, I found out something else new;
After parking, and only after parking, the EAC disarmed.

I believe this is a new bug.

I keep re-checking every now and then and keep bumping the report. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it'll be fixed soon.

It looks like the engines react in a certain way to the outside air temperature. I can only guess that this might be an underlying change in the DCS core and is maybe not an easy thing to fix. When comparing engine RPM at specific outside air temperatures, they don't match the A-10 documentation, and I believe they did (at least more than now) in the past.

This has been reported by several players, see here for instance (it tends to happen within a certain time after touchdown and doesn't necessarily require the jet to stand still, AFAICT).

However, according to some, this looks like it might be correct behavior. As I understand it, the EAC switch can disarm after landing. It doesn't have to, but if it does, it's apparently not indicative of any failures or issues with the jet, and pilots can just flick it back on if they intend to take off again.
