If mark labels are placed on a map in a MP mission and the player leaves and comes back later, the label will not show on the F10 map. This has occured with the latest patch. Was working before.

I've just tested this on a public server and had no such issue, at least with my own markers.

Is the issue fixed for you as well?

※Sorry, I found this by searching the label and decided to post it, but my problem happened during solo play. I don't play multiplayer.

Thank you. You have several errors in your log. Here's an example:

2024-07-29 00:56:35.261 ERROR LuaGUI (Main): ERROR: safeDoFileWithRequire() failed to pcall "MissionEditor/data/MissionGenerator/GeneratorData/environment.lua": [string "MissionEditor/data/MissionGenerator/GeneratorData/environment.lua"]:1: attempt to index global 'i_18n' (a nil value)

EDIT: I have this error too, so it has probably nothing to do with your issue.

Try a DCS cleanup and repair.

I'm trying it now and command prompt doesn't work.

I'm not very computer savvy so I could be wrong but I'll attach a screenshot.

I also downloaded the cleanup and repair files, put them in the root folder and tried running them, but nothing happened.

It seems like I'm doing something wrong here. What are the steps? I watched the video but I can't get it to work.

Thank you

Thank you.
But I've already run the Steam integrity check many times.
I did it a few minutes ago. It said I had to redownload about 150 files, but nothing changed.
The labels still aren't showing up.

I solved it by force.
I backed up and moved the mission editor folder where the error was occurring.
After that I installed the mission editor folder that had disappeared after the consistency check.
I then overwrote the mission editor folder that I had moved into that folder.
Then, for some reason, the labels started to appear.
I'm not sure what the cause is, but thanks for your support!

I had never seen markers with red bold labels. Is that a mod? Or are they drawing added to the mission file?

Can you tell me which server it is? I'd like to try to better understand your issue.

Flappie this mission uses MOOSE to generate markers. Based on zone ownership you can set the color of the text of the marker. If you want to connect I can get you on the server.. Its private.

still dont retain markers if you leave an MP server. Test by manually adding a marker to the mission and give it a name. if you leave the server and come back marker is gone.
