tekwoj Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 (edited) As in the title. It's getting tiring to have to traverse all weapon pages to turn on the fuzes or LD-10 modes just in case I use the swap weapons button more than once. Edited July 21, 2024 by tekwoj
PawlaczGMD Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 you should email Chengdu with your feedback 1

I guess a pilot doing a2g will rather use mfd buttons to manually select page cause they are in their hand's reach and weapon switch is only for a2a engagements.

I was just trolling, I barely did the training missions in the Jeff and don't actually know what you mean either way. 1
supersylph Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 It's just a matter of moving your finger a few more times when your toggle key is on hotas, which is actually not a hassle. You can configure different firing programs for the same weapon and quickly call them up through the hotas, which is actually very convenient in combat. For example, you set LD10's program 1 to ACT and program 2 to SP.In this way, for example, when a radar suddenly turns on and locks on you, you can quickly switch the missile mode without having to set it separately on the MFD.

Yes, I know it can be very convenient with weapons that can have more complex setups. However if I'm using gbu + rocket pods it means that when I fence in I have to go through all the pages and set fuzes on each page or else I risk that in combat I pull up a page where it's still set to the default safe. In simple missions with limited loadouts I need only 1 or 2 pages. On a side note I'm not sure LD-10 in SP mode is useful lately, damage is very low and it seems to hit always offset rather than a direct hit.

Always make a seperate topic for seperate issues along with the needed infos like tracks and how to reproduce. 1
