digitego Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 The most inconvenient thing about using VR is. I think it's difficult to manipulate the cockpit. The cursor linked to the VR headset is shaking, so it is difficult to aim accurately, Otherwise, you need to use a mouse cursor while using VR. So I have a suggestion, It's a cursor bound to the surface of the cockpit. This cursor does not move even when the pilot's viewpoint moves Move using a separate axis or cursor key. Additionally, Recall to current Piolt View Center & 'Currently Selected Feature Showing Window'. Thank you. 2

OrangePaw Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Been playing DCS for years and switched to VR and find this a problem also. The cursor sometimes gets shifted way outside your VR view and you lose track of it. This takes several seconds to find the cursor and get reoriented. It also delays getting things done in the cockpit. Would love to see the cursor (in VFR only) stay within the viewport of the VR headset. Maybe even disassociate the cursor from the head movement all together as an option. Maybe this can be done already but not sure. Thanks for reading.
