Do you still have to be inside a vehicle, to be a JTAC?

If yes, is there any appetite to add the ability for a player to walk on the ground, to be a JTAC?

If you ask for a plan to add FPS JTAC then no, there are none but I wish there was.

The Stinger manpad units can be manned and used as JTAC by a player. I don't know if the OPFOR counterparts (ex. Igla) are the same.
