🇬🇧  Another campaign developer who uses the current ED internal version said he does not have this problem.

It can be assumed that everything will work as it should with the next update.

Always happy landings ;)

🇬🇧  I have more information about the error in mission 5b.

For whatever reason, DCS suddenly has problems with the vehicle column.

If another similar column replaces this, it works without problems.

However, since some triggers are linked to the convoy, and this mission is all about the convoy, this will cost me some time.

This will be done over the weekend, and ED should have received a new version from me that would work again. I am optimistic that this will make it into the next update.

Always happy landings ;)

My favourite Apache SP campaign 'Royal Hammer' also unfortunately suffers this problem in missions where it is required to meet certain objectives before commanding the column to advance. In quite a number of missions the columns will stall at a certain point. I have always assumed that something in an update had broken the system.

Well it got a mention in the change log but it doesn't appear to be fixed, convoy still won't proceed. Shame 😕

"AI Ground. When taking control of the vehicle, the column of vehicle stops - fixed."

is this supposed to be fixed seeing as its well passed Sept 18, the convoy isn't moving for me.

It has been internally fixed for weeks, but there has been no DCS update in September. ED has delayed the planned DCS update for the 18 for at least two weeks.
Unfortunately, we have no say and nothing to influence regarding DCS updates; we need patience. :dunno:

so this is somewhat off topic, but I have a higher chance of having my comment replied to here (these forums are dead). This has supposedly been fixed in the patch the other day, so I was going to go back and finish this mission, but I had previously skipped the first mission because I flew it entirety before but screwed up my landing right at the end and died and didn't feel like re-flying it right away. So I went to replay mission 1 first, after I completed it, it told me if I save the mission results it will clear my mission results for everything after that. Can someone confirm that it will clear my campaign progress? I literally cannot find anything relevant anywhere on the internet. It seems silly to me that if you skip a mission, you can't clear the campaign without reflying every mission.

@Myztkl-Kev
When clearing the mission, you must refly everything or skip missions.

Another way is to start the missions out of the mission editor.
The campaign is in the DCS World/ Mods/campaigns folder.

You can re-fly any mission at any time. After the mission DCS asks you if you want to update/save the status. If you answer "yes" it will clear the status for the remaining missions. If you answer "no", it will keep the status.

oof. I literally skipped the first mission, so if I want to get a "win" status on the campaign I will have to re-fly every other mission. That's....annoying. I get it, it's a sim and I should have to play through them all without dying, but that's crazy. That's hours of flying missions I've already completed.

You can cheat...
Just fly the mission, note the score and edit your logfile accordingly. Or, backup your logfile. Fly the mission. Save, and copy the changes over to the backup, and replace the logfile.
