skins45 Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 (edited) I know the wish list for aircraft is as long as the Earth is wide, but I'd like to throw the A-37 on the list (as well as the T-37 variant) for a few reasons - in no particular order: Fairly simple aircraft! (It was designed as a trainer after all) Fits nicely in the fixed-wing niche for Vietnam era COIN operations. (Won't mention the little hints at Vietnam map all over the place ..... oops) COIN OPERATIONS! - We're getting there as a side effect of Afghanistan/Iraq releases and infantry overhaul Armament options aplenty Still has aerial refueling Used post-Vietnam (even still today) Are there other aircraft that would take priority in a Vietnam map? Sure. In fact, OF COURSE! But after an OV-10 for COIN/CAS, I'd love to see this unique little guy. Thoughts? A-37 Dragonfly Youtube Video Edited August 8, 2024 by skins45 3

I'm not saying no to a flyable module I'm just saying it would be nice to add to the list of Vietnam era aircraft 3
skins45 Posted August 11, 2024 Author Posted August 11, 2024 (edited) Lol, you're not wrong about Jane's! (Also one of my favorite 90's "sims".) I do think it would be an easy module here for player aircraft. It's so simple from a systems perspective that even if you make it an AI aircraft, most of the hard work would already be done!
