terryfarrow Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Ok this is a weird one, I start DCS and run a mission but I cannot use my Thrustmaster joystick at all until I start task manager and then switch it off, then I can use my Joystick and throttle. Any ideas please.
draconus Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Do you use TARGET or any other external soft for your joy? Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
draconus Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Found some good tips here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/cmb4qs/warthog_joystick_not_functional_within_target/ Can be a driver or profile settings problem. As many say there I'd remove this software unless you really need it. Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
scommander2 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 (edited) How about rescan device under config->CONTROLS->"Rescan devices". Before doing it, please do backup "Users\<user_name>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input". Hope the rescan can locate the "new" device id (new timestamp) under "Input\<mod_name>\joystick". For example: s If the new device id file is created, copy and rename old device id file (has the key binding stuffs) with the new device id and move it back the current path, then start DCS. Good luck.
