I was locking targets with George, me in the backseat.. the missiles were flying way past the target that I locked. I got closer and it helped quite a bit, but why did George let me lock and fire if he knew they were not going to hit the targets ? Tanks, cars, etc. On a road... with trees, without trees, flat...

Were you reasonably stable on target, no sudden extreme movements in any direction that could throw him off?

Without trying to sound obtuse, was George doing the firing or did you pull the trigger?

Could you provide a few more details about the issue? Were you in constraints, range to target etc.?

I flew the last two days missions in the backseat with George in frontseat with the latest patches.

I find pretty George accurate targetting and firing Helllires.

I have the same experience. When he misses, I was flying erratically to evade incoming fire or I ended up obstructing his view. I find George extremely effective as long as I keep him in parameters.

Laser missiles will often fly and miss. This happens while buddy lasing, lasing with George, or a good CPG. This has been the experience in my squad. You can have a clear laser from 5000 meters away, IAT, and it will miss. Radar missiles seem to have a better hit rate but require you to be closer than with laser missiles. I can not speak to how realistic this is, But it can be frustrating when your in a group flight and 30% of your missiles go long for reasons you can not explain.

A track file would be most helpful here.

In my experience, a good lase on the center of mass, or at the wheelbase of the vehicle, will give me a 95+ percent success rate with Kilos in LOBL mode.

my issue is the track files are too large to post and part of a long mission or campaign.. so I cannot post them, the issue continues, it has no gotten better !
