Not exactly sure where this post belongs. But is there a way to make a kneeboard for a specific flight or aircraft? I tried doing it by folder for example HARM codes for the F-16 and F/A-18 with their folder names i.e F-16C_50 & FA-18C_hornet. But I still see both kneeboards regardless what aircraft I'm in.

I'm trying to make a mission and I don't want certain flights having to shuffler through unneeded pages. The apache guys doesn't need to know the harm codes, but need to know the different routes and phase lines that others don't need to know.

On a given mission, you can make separate KB only for each aircraft type ... it will show up on every flight that flies that type of aircraft. The MIZ internal structure has to be like this:

The aircraft type code is the same as the one used for its Liveries. Here is a sample mission for you to try, the F16 KB has a single page and it will not show up on the F18 client and viceversa:

I need help adding images to the F-18c folder.

Besides adding them to a mission file and creating a bigger mission file size, have your squadron mates place the files as required below:

My F-18 HAG kneeboard pages go here:  C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\fa-18c_hornet

or they can go in a terrains kneeboard folder like this example:  G:\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Nevada\Kneeboard

I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) :pilotfly:

Can't get it to work. :censored:

Hi,

I don't know what may be wrong on your DCS, but I can assure you that it does work on mine, just tested it today:

These are the files and folder that I use:

GrCGCUp.jpg

and within the Sim  the kneeboard works as usual:

0VkATep.jpg

On my example, the first tab (pink) is the Hornet default kneeboard (very basic, a single page), the 2nd (orange) are the pages at /Saved Games/Kneeboard, the 3rd (green) are the pages of the Terrain (Kola on this case), and the last tab is the DCS dynamic map.

I just noticed that you are using files in .jpg format, have you tried with PNG images?
