How can I delete the last digit on CDU if I entered something incorrectly without having to delete the entire line.

We're refining how the CDU works, one of the items is indeed how the CLR button actually clears the scratchpad inputs.

I can tell you how it works on other Boeings, the 777 and 787 at least.

A quick press of the CLR key deletes one character, press and hold clears all.

Unfortunately no I have tried it a short click on the CLR button also deletes the complete line. Thanks for the suggestion
