Schwinn Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I have been searching for the proper switches to buy. All I can find are Mom On - Off - Mom On or Mom On - Off. If you move the switch you get a momentary contact and the sim gets a button press but how do you make it so the sim gets a momentary press for on and a momentary press for off? What types of switches are you using? Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated. Orin "Schwinn" Chenard
Total Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Depending on what matrix interface you use, the imatrix will only send the macro once to the PC when the switch is on. When turned off, an on release state sends a macro again. This is with a On-Off type switch. On-Off-On can be used a dual purpose.
Schwinn Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 Is there one you recommend? I would like the switches to be in the proper position relative to the in game cockpit.
Schwinn Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 I was thinking this one. http://www.hagstromelectronics.com/products/ke_usb108.html MODEL KE-USB108
CAT_101st Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I have the KE-72. Wish I had the usb-108. Easy to program macros for it. 36 command line for on and 16 for off. makes it easy to have the covers flip up and flip the switch with only one flip of a switch.
