Open XR cross eye tool always appears when starting DCS in VR mode

Is this inteded behaviour or is it a bug?

If you have it enabled in your autoexec.cfg it will appear until you have saved a preference. 

Either save a preference or disable it in the autoexec.cfg and you should be ok.

Ok, I will check if I still have the line in autoexec.cfg and remove it so it hopefully goes away because I dont seem to need to make any changes in it anyway. However it does not go away when I save a preference, its like it cant save it and therefore reappears every time.

you can just comment it out, place a few dashes in front of it --
