Here is a track from Final Hour Mission 1. I run through without messing with Jester as the mission says to do. You can see the code at the bottom continuously cycles the second number Jester never does anything when over the target. I then turn around and try to get him to work the traditional way and nothing.

I also created a track from the training day instant action mission but it was too big to upload. Same thing. Cannot get Jester to QWP and the second number of the code cycles. Let me know what else you need.

Ok, here's what reliably works for me as a workaround.

1. Before leaving the ground, open the re-arm menu, and use the fuse menu there to copy 1688 to all of the same type

2. Wait for the rearm to be done before doing anything else

3. Once in the air, switch to A/G mode and wait for the pod to warm up, when he starts playing with the laser code jump in the back and manually set them to 688 and they will stay, I usually flip the stations on since I'm back there anyway, but Jester can do it too

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

In mission editor; Change/reload bombs and save.

Did not work for me, tried that, all GBU's.

When getting in the plane, the laser code is always set to "4294967295"until I open the re-arming menu on the ground and reset all codes to 1688 in-mission.

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

I have same issue, in VR. didn't see this thread when I created mine. have not been able to utilize Lantirn since May 2024 using Quest 2 VR, or it was close to when they combined the stable and Beta, IDK I can't remember.

Help me, please. Playing in place of RIO. TWS-auto mode. I select and assign the nearest target. I take the pilot's seat to raise the nose of the airplane and launch. The RIO at this time resets its grip on the selected target. Changes the width and range of the radar scanning area to maximum. Switches to RWS mode. Loses the target. Then switches back to TWS-auto mode. Takes a long time to select and assign the same target. At this point, I'm already being hit by an enemy missile. I should just run away. How can I stop RIO from changing my target selection and radar settings? Thank you.
