spike2450
Hi DCS Black Shark I have remapped my x52s precision slide to zoom in slow and zoom out slow. ( Directional axis). However i am getting picture shake and have to keep adjusting the zoom until i can stop the shake!! I have managed to search and found a solution for the rotarys when zooming and you have to create a deadzone of 10 to stop the picture shake. I'm hoping there is a solution for the slider. HitchHikingFlatlander
Its a known issue. The fix is to use you SST software to break the axis into several bands and then set those bands to the various zoom settings in game. My slider is set up in game and I get the same issue usually I just move it a little bit either direction until it stops. http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Sena
Yeah, it's not really something you can solve with a deadzone. What you'd need is some lowpass temporal filtering on the joystick output, but I don't know how to do this in software, it would probably require a driver hack. You could probably fix it using a capacitator and resistor to make a filter circuit if you don't mind some soldering inside your throttle. For now I used the SST software to program zoom on the throttle mousewheel.

HitchHikingFlatlander
Coming from someone whos taken joysticks apart do it ONLY if you have no problem buying a new one if you screw up something. I've managed to put the sticks back together or not (in the case I just wanted the electronics inside)! http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
