outi Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Hello all, I've recently had a problem in my missions when "uncontrolled" planes are used. After they are sometimes destroyed in the missions, a strange phenomenon occurs. Immediately after the destruction, they start to wobble back and forth and become extremely stretched. This goes so far that the sky darkens, the game stutters and the plane model despawns. Sometimes, however, it also leads to a complete crash. I was able to reproduce this on my son's PC. No mods, drivers updated. Is the error known or is there perhaps a solution to it? Thanks in advance for any help. Ben uncontrolled_ai_wiggle_crash.trk
sleighzy Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 A very similar issue has been reported in the bug reports channel in the DCS Discord server. There is a comment there that it may be fixed in the next upcoming patch. I have added a comment there with a link back to this forum post to have the dev team confirm whether or not this may be the same issue, and if potentially resolved in the next patch. I'll drop a further update here once I hear back. 1 AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2
