Howdy!

I'm at my wits end after trying to troubleshoot this for a couple hours. I was playing DCS just an hour before, then I sat down to play again and it unfortunately crashes. This is right after I hit to launch button in the launcher. I've nuked my Mods folder, run a cleanup and slow repair, but no dice. I'd love any help. And if I do end up doing a complete reinstall, will my keybinds transfer over or do I need to save those somehow?

Here is my attached log file, I would greatly appreciate any help sorting this out. Thank you for any advice!

Many thanks. Please atach here also your '\Saved Games\%DCS%\Config\options.lua' file. And if possible - crash-archive generated in  '\Saved Games\%DCS%\Logs\'

I see you have a lot of F-16 liveries in wrong place (inside mods/aircraft/f-16c/liveries/ folder). Can you please run DCS Repair and remove extra files?

As long as you don't touch Saved Games folder, they should stay as they are.

Have you also tried disabling the launcher altogether and starting the game wthout it? You can do it by setting relevant parameter in options.lua file to "false", as shown below.

“C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS”

”C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\options.lua”

If editing configuration files make sure you use an editor like Notepad++ and not the default Windows Notepad application.

Note, turning off the launcher isn’t going to solve your problem though based on your log file.

You should start by removing all you mods and running a slow repair with the option checked for removing extra files.

thanks. I ran clean and repair twice yesterday evening. No dice. I found 3 innocuous mods that shouldn't make a difference really, but i just removed them. If it still doesnt work, i remove Reshade. That shouldnt have anything to do with the crashes either IMO.

@StarLiner, @Omega One can you try this again after upgrading to the latest patch. The patch changelog indicates a fix with invalid zip files, which your logs seem to indicate a crash with the zip driver.
