PLEASE, update the already old model and textures of the FARP. I don't even know if it changed since 2015 and with all the focus on helicopters now it really hurts the eye.

i believe the FARP is a legacy model, only in the game for compatibility with older missions.

to create good looking FARPs, built them from individual assets and use FOB functionality that was added a few years ago.

My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

*now with 17% more wishes compared to the original

What compatibility? If that's the problem they could easily add a new one.

If you mean the individual helipads:

The "Helipad Single" is as ugly as the "FARP"

The "PAD Single" is very tiny for the helicopters of DCS, only useful for the OH-58D

And the "Invisible FARP" well is just invisible so its like landing anywhere.

 

What do you mean for FOB functionality? Fuel, AMMO, Repair and COMMS? ALL the helipadas need those services so you need to place them.

While this works for SP, in MP that unfortunately is wholly inadequate, as the new "dynamic player spawn" doesn't work well with helipads (bone-headed "flight is waiting" and it wreaks havok on any attached warehouse logic), so we urgently need a better multi-slot FARP. It's a pity that this has not been given much attention in the past few years. Let us hope that ED wakes their sleeping prices/princesses who work on that aspect of DCS.

Adding to the multiplayer thing as well. FARPs can spawn players in random spots if there is multiple people using that pad. So if you make a cool looking farp with static objects all over it. That's going to be a bad time for a spawn. You can do that for a landing point or a couple helicopters with ground start placed away from the static objects.
