Bassel Al-Assad. What are these ramps/slopes used for?

These ramps are scattered around the airfield. Anyone knows what they are used for?

I believe these ramps are typically used to place radar based systems (usually anti air). The raised position improves visibility of the radar system (particularly for objects near horizon level). I would imagine it may also reduce ground clutter interference, though that is more of an educated guess than anything I have first hand knowledge of.

Please treat this post with a grain of salt, someone with more knowledge may be able to share more relevant information and there is a possibility that I am incorrect.

Apart from SAM radars you can also place any weapon or armed vehicle to easily shot over the fence and against low flying air threats.

Thanks guys!  Yes, that also my guess. I have currently placed on them a mix of Dog Ear/Tunguska/Tor (no Pantsir in DCS). With camonet and sandbags for protection.

If anyone has more information feel free to post. Historically, I would guess that something like an SA-3 Low Blow FCR would be a good fit.
