DthFrmAbv Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Folks, havn't flown the Viggen for at least a year, maybe longer. There is or at least used to be a night filter for the radar. It made the green screen a red one. I think it was LShift-LCTRL-f or so, I still have it mapped to my Hotas profile. But it does not work. I can't even find a mapping in the controls-settings in DCS!? Was that feature removed from the module or replaced by something else? Thanks! TOViper Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 (edited) Hey! It's still there, the binding is called "Radar CI filter anti-clockwise" and "... clockwise". I bound it to my keyboard, and it works. Also, the wheel on the CI's left side should work. On my HOTAS it works. Do you use any addons? DthFrmAbv Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 thanks mate, I'll try that. I really didn't see the possible relation between what I'm looking for and any filter rotation. But thinking about it, it's sounds pretty reasonable! Ryzen 3700X, 2080ti, 32GB, HP Reverb, Rift S, Thrustmaster Warthog, Crosswind, SFX-100 motion rig

Machalot Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Sure would be nice if this filter could be set on by default for a night start. The unfiltered radar is blinding! "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
