How do I move the Throttle back into STOP?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

If I click on the highlighted lever, the Throttle moves from STOP into MIN:

However, I can't then get the Throttle back into STOP ... tried it with both the engine running and non-running, but to no avail, the lever doesn't move the Throttle back to STOP.  Does it have a trick?

Thanks for the help,

Eduardo

Hm, that is new to me... haven't piloted the -21 lately, but it always used to work. Have you tried a keybind? That's what I was using before. If it doesn't work, you found a new bug.

Yes, I did, the standard one: LWin+LShf+E .. no difference with clicking the lever lock  😞

Hello,

I disabled all Mods, didnt had many but there were several, then ran a repair and also updated to the latest hotfix. And now the MiG-21 throttle works as it should:

Don't know which specific Mod was conflicting, but it's clear not a module bug. Thanks a lot @Volator, for nudging me on the correct path to solve this 🙏

Hello,

I found that this issue was not caused by a user mod after all, the root cause was that with age my throttle axis had reduced its range to the point were a zero throttle position would give an internal raw value higher than zero. Re-calibrating my Hotas with its calibration software fixed the issue, now the Z (throttle) axis does deliver a zero value when the throttle is all the way back:

So, if in the future other user finds the same issue, check your throttle axis first, as the MiG-21 lock only works with throttle at zero.
