Muddy17 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 The AI flights are smashing into airbase infrastructure before making it to runway? In Mission 1 its the second flight but in Mission 2 My flight cant even make it out of revetments
Zone5 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Have the same problem--see topic of similar name. Sorry I missed that this was already here...
Grundar Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 I believe the Syria map recently had some terrain/item placement updates which has had this kick on effect. For example Baltic Dragons Gamblers campaign has the very same issues with the Syria map. Not sure if the campaigns require updates or it is something on ED's end.
_Milan_ Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 (edited) Yeah, same problem here. It looks like the AI doesn't exactly follow the taxi lines when leaving the parking slots. Workaround for me in mission 2 was to open the mission file from the f-4e/campaigns folder, activate the option to see hidden objects and move or even remove the container barriers between the parking slots. I could post the changed mission here but as it's an official campaign and not one from the user-files (though it's for free), I will only do with permission by HB ( @IronMike @Zabuzard) Cheers Milan Edited November 12, 2024 by _Milan_ Roter Milan - YouTube
Karatfur Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Same Here, I'm doing the 4 mission and my wingmans explodes in the middle of the runway.
truebrit Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 I managed to get airborne with 1 wingman, but he RTB'd at waypoint 4 with low fuel lol.
