AJaromir Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 (edited) As you can see in the video. Once I set FPS limit to 150, everything is instantly fine. Bellow that the suttering occurs. Core parking is forcibly disabled in the windows registries. AJaromir Posted November 16, 2024 Author Posted November 16, 2024 After like 10 game restarts it finally works without stutters. I really don't understand what happened.
Limaro Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 For me it looks like Vsync. I see it's disabled, but maybe active over nvidia driver? It would also explain the parking. AJaromir Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 No. I have set "leave the decision to the 3d application" for everything. Today i turned the game again and the issue is back. Seems like it happens randomly. Something is parking. But I don't know what because all cores are unparked.
Mustang Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 This may or may not help but see especially around the 16min 16sec part, I have affinity set to FF and DCS runs way smoother (12700k CPU)
AJaromir Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 (edited) You think it is possible to overflow 24GB VRAM and 64GB RAM in main menu? Edited November 17, 2024 by AJaromir
SharpeXB Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 With a 144Hz Gsync monitor you should set the Frame Limiter in DCS to off (all the way to the right) then in Nvidia CP set a frame limit of 144Hz to match your screen or perhaps 2-3 fps lower if you still see tearing. Turn Vsync off in DCS and NCP. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
