Hiob Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 (edited) EDIT: The issue was solved! It wasn’t the Phantoms fault at all. The FFB device had a hickup, that was either solved by a firmware update and/or an USB power cycle. Sorry for the alarm! Hey, usually when I trim the F-4 the FFB Stick would follow. So if trim nose down for fast cruise, the sticks center position (or force free position) would move forward (quite a bit). However, that doesn’t work anymore. I can see that the trim hat inputs are registered and the bob weight indicator in the controls overlay is moving forward - but the stick doesn’t follow. I did any troubleshooting on the FFB side of things I could think of (including deleting and re-enabling the export.lua) and every other FFB aspects seems to work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Solution Zabuzard Posted November 17, 2024 Solution Posted November 17, 2024 does the ingame stick visually move or also stationary? on ground or in air (or both)?does it happen to you always or only sometimes?trimming changes the length of the lever that allows the bellows to put force on the stick in order pull it aft. if ur bellows are out (ground, frozen, lost tail, combat damage,...) trimming won't do anything Are you launching DCS with the "new" launcher? Perhaps double check the settings menu in the launcher and then again ingame for the "Use FFB" setting.I recall the launcher sometimes messing with settings after updates. At least when it came out. 1

Hey, thank you for engaging with this. No. I‘m not using the launcher. FFB is enabled. I changed no settings inside DCS. I know that trimming does nothing on the ground. but when speed builds up and you need to increasingly trim nose down, the stick should follow (which it did), which it now doesn’t anymore. I‘m completely aware that I might messed up something on my end, but I can’t figure out what. Do you want me to record a track? 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

It still works in my trusty old MS FFB2, even if I use a trim hat on another stick. Testet that? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
