PeterP Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I wanted to know if it is possible to loop a track replay in BlackShark? You can do it in LockOn - I searched also the forum and the GUI-Manual but found no info about this.
Jack McCoy Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Hi. What do you mean by "loop"? If you want to rewind/play-in-reverse/go back in time, there's no such feature. If you want to play the same track over and over automatically (play in a loop), say to put a public display at a kiosk (booth), There might be some solution via LUA programming, but I wouldn't know. Good luck. i7-7700K@4.8GHz, 16Gb-3200, GTX-1080Ti-Strix-11Gb, Maximus IX Hero, Oculus Rift, Thrustmaster Warthog+F/A-18C, Logitech G940 Pedals.
PeterP Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Loop like a Loop!;) and nothing more or less. I want to have the function that when I replay the track it starts again and again automatically. This function would be useful for a computers shop presentation : Running DCS instead of 3D-Mark to catch the eyes of the customers.
Kurtz Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I guess you could use FRAPS to record the track as avi or similar. 1
Jack McCoy Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I guess you could use FRAPS to record the track as avi or similar. Good idea. But why not use the built-in Track to AVI converter, then? 1 i7-7700K@4.8GHz, 16Gb-3200, GTX-1080Ti-Strix-11Gb, Maximus IX Hero, Oculus Rift, Thrustmaster Warthog+F/A-18C, Logitech G940 Pedals.
PeterP Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Thanks all for your reply! O.K. here is the whole info: A Friend of mine works in a computer retail store. He is very impressed of this Simulation (Capabilities/things that are calculated in the background)... As I said they run normally 3D-Mark in the background to have something visual and to talk about when you want to talk why you need a better cpu, ect... He would really like to run BlackShark, but he would also like to be in the position to stop this "show" and take over control instantly when a customer asks more about this software/hardware to show the benefits... And if you run a video it would be a whole different thing - also to running every - lets say: 20min to the console and restart the track is also not so optimal for a shop ( the Track runs over a VGAsplitter on 4-7 screens simultaneously). And it's also suboptimal to say to a possible customer that what he sees is a video and not the actual render of a furious battle (he never saw before) , running on only one computer in front of him... ( not to say that it would take 2-3 Min to show him the game on this machine - this is very contra productive for a first customer contact...) That's why I want to know if you can loop a Trackfile as I can do it in LockOn Flaming Cliffs. So if anyone has a answer I would really appreciate it! - even if I have to learn how to program a LUA script.:) Edited June 18, 2009 by PeterP
