Mission 6 SAM Spawns - *Spoilers*

Quick question on mission 6 regarding the SAM spawns in the Bekka Valley. 

 

First off, solid campaign so far. Really enjoying it.

First mission in the campaign to give me some trouble is mission 6, the night flight SAM hunting in the Bekka Valley with Boomer. I ended up having to try this one a few times to get it right, but I noticed that on my first two attempts that

the Sam spawns at Baalbek and Rayak were both SA-6 sites, but on my third attempt they were both SA-8's. I felt a little conflicted about beating the SA-8's as the Geko's are much easier to deal with than the SA-6 system, having half the effective range and a much lower ceiling.

Is there something I did or didn't do earlier in the mission that influenced which SAM system spawned or is it random?

They're randomised, a mix of different Sams and/or locations to keep you on your toes

Well now I'm just going to have to go back and see if I can manage it with the SA6's! lol
