Grizz58 Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Apologies if this question has been asked a million times before but I have been unable to find the answer after hours of looking at forums, Reddits, YouTube videos, etc. I've been flying the DCS sim for over a year but I have never been able to get my pilot to swivel his head in external views or replays of tracks. The only exception is when I command him to salute from the carrier deck. I use a Trackhat V2 sensor for head tracking which works well and I have no problem moving my view around from inside cockpit. However, my head movements don't seem to be linked to the pilot figure as I've seen countless times on YouTube videos. Have I missed a setting somewhere to turn that on?
Nealius Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I haven't checked recently but there's a possibility it was broken in the last patch or two. It worked last time I checked in November-ish.
Grizz58 Posted December 26, 2024 Author Posted December 26, 2024 Thanks. Is there a switch or setting you need to activate in order to make this work? I've never been able to get my system to work. I've been on the latest open beta version since I started using the sim over a year ago.
Nealius Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 I checked today with a replay recorded yesterday and animations worked fine on my end.
