Genius passed away... Very very sad. Won't judge him what kind of man he was in private life but i must say he had incredible talent as an artist. When I was in primal school his songs in that time were the first I liked so much. Remember those concerts on MTV - so powerfull with an amazing choreography. Just wow!

Rest in peace M.J. ...

Well said, Poko24. That man was a genius. Incredible talent in singing, dancing, and business. He had a very difficult childhood dealing with fame at an early age and being abused by his father. He will be missed.

appreciate he was a good performer, back in the day.

pretty hard to look past his weirdness and apparent discretions.

bit like a kid throwing a tantrum,

put on a big enough song and dance you get to do whatever you like

i'm sorry, bad taste i know,

in the end he was all white,

i'll just beat it.

straight to hell for me :D

As for Farah Fawcett, I'm sorry for her tragic death, cancel is a terrible and painful way to die. I think the reason why you might see more mention of Michael Jackson is because people really do understand that pretty faces are a dime a dozen. I mean, throw a rock out your window and you might hit one on accident. :P Really, it isn't all that uncommon or big of a deal if you're thinking with the correct part of your anatomy. ;) Yes, she was also an actor but only went as far as she did because of her looks. I'm not impressed with that and really have little respect for it.

True talent, the kind that only comes around once in a generation or two, however, now that's a rare thing indeed. Say what you want about him being a wacked out nut job, the man had real bonafied talent. You can hear it when he was just a little kid:

That kid in that video is ELEVEN and he can carry a tune better than most. I can tell you that I still listen to the songs from Thriller from time to time. That talent was lost in the his poor management of his image, and that is another tragedy in of itself. In many ways he brought all of that upon himself, IMO.

If you can't appreciate the fact that the world has just loss one more talented person, there is nothing I can say to convince you otherwise. I'm beginning to re-discover being a musician after a long time out of the saddle, so perhaps I'm just more sensitive to this now than I would have been before. :)

I am not gonna jugde him how he was in semi private-public life, but many of his songs were and are really beautiful.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Artists should be a bit different characters from average society meaning to look at something from outside other ppl thoughts and make original, fresh and pretty artwork. No mather what art discipline we talk about.
