gigem75 Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 I'm not sure this is the correct forum, if not I apologize. I'm trying to pair down some of the terrain Kneeboard images and just have images I've created to assist me with different cockpit tasks, radars, radios, radio calls, etc. I've found the terrain folders and images for each Theater of Operations in the Mods\terrains\-theater-\kneeboard or kneeboard_orig, folders and can edit those but I can't find for instance the maps of the Mariana Islands or Normandy I wish to remove in any of them, Saved Games or otherwise. There is one .png in the DCS\Mods\terrains\MarianaIslands\kneeboard_orig folder but it's not one of the ones I see in the kneeboard while flying. I've searched every folder for .pdfs, .pngs, and .jpgs but can't find the ones I'm seeing in the cockpit. Any ideas of where I'm not looking? In the interests of specificity if I could be pointed to where the Mariana Islands maps are that would get me started. Thanks!

But later in the day i will try to show you how to add kneeboard pages to your mission. fagulha Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) Just go to DCS core folder, and see the folders path in the pic. If you don´t have the "kneeboard" folder inside the terrain folder of your choice you need to create one. If so, create the folder as in my pic because it´s case sensitive. Then you just need to copy your .PNG files to this folder in each Terrain folder. Just note that after each update you´ll need to copy those files again. I have a mods folder backup and after an update i just copy/paste the folder again (you can use OvGme but i didn´t want to complicate things much). Hope it didn´t sound confusing. But if you need further help please say so. Enjoy. PS: there are other methods of doing this, i usually use my personal kneeboard by mission specific (i open the .miz file and copy my .PNG´s directly to the mission).
