RichCotte Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Getting closer...6 ships from the 379th BW, Desert Storm era. 7
krayons213 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Looks great! Looking forward to using these in game. 1
RichCotte Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 (edited) Ok, time to see if I can figure out how to load a livery up on the User Files section. The first one will be a semi-fictional recreation of B-52G Let's Make a Deal (58-0173) from the 379th Bomb Wing during Desert Storm. The nose art was recreated from a photograph I took while visiting the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB a few years ago. The rest of the details are recreated from various online sources. Unfortunately, since we have yet to figure out all of the custom args of the B-52 liveries the tail section isn't accurate as far as where the reg numbers are located. RichCotte Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Good to know @waterman I haven’t looked yet. The rest will follow shortly. Just have to review all the artwork and make sure it’s good to go. 2 1
RichCotte Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Next batch of liveries are almost done...see attached for more details... I also uploaded a better version of Let's Make a Deal with improved graphics. 2
RichCotte Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 They’re available now: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3343202/ 1 1
RichCotte Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 Sorry, something is wrong with the zip file, so I deleted the livery post. I'll try and get it back up later tonight. 2
RichCotte Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 Created a new 7-Zip archive and tested it several times on multiple PCs to ensure it unzips correctly. Just uploaded it again. 1
RichCotte Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 Not sure what's up, but the file that downloads won't unzip. So, I guess I'll try individual Liveries next instead of a pack including all 7. 1
Wing Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Great work Rich, really appreciate all the hard work with these and assistance with the lua thus far. 1 www.v303rdFighterGroup.com | v303 FG Discord
RichCotte Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 (edited) All of the Operation Secret Squirrel Liveries have been uploaded as individual files. Apparently when I tried to bundle it all together, something got lost in the process. I'm still working on the other 379th BW ships that I have images for, along with a fictional recreation of the SIOP pattern (attached image) that leaves the base gray of the ED livery in place wherever we haven't yet figured out how to remove decals. Big shout out to Foxykemo for help on aligning the camouflage across the various files. Hope to have it done this weekend. Edited February 22 by RichCotte 3 2
RichCotte Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 nullJust updated El Lobo II to the new SIOP-like pattern. It should post to the User Files section soon. 1

RichCotte Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 Two more 379th BW ships available on User Files section. Should have a few more tonight/this weekend. 1
RichCotte Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 Uploaded another 379th bird last night. That’s the last one I have decent nose art imagery for, so on to other projects for now. I’ll probably do a run of purely fictional birds, based on the SIOPish pattern. 1 1
