tezak Posted January 8 Posted January 8 using NVG, I cant see (or verrrry barely see the jtac or my buddy lasing with a marker laser, while without VR is clearly visible. During landing at night, I know there is this blinking light behind the carrier that guides the aircraft for landing, not the IFOLS but other one. In VR it´s totally invisible. Tested on a 4090 on HP Reverb G2 and Quest 3 on a 4080. With varied settings...

Make sure it's CVN-71, 72, 73 or 75 and in recovery mode (either AI landing or you have to contact inbound). They don't work on the Stennis. As always best to post a short track. For me otoh the ball is very strong light strobe and sometimes the light wands glint with strong reflections too. I am having this same issue. these lights are super bright. completely washes out the E bracket. bright and strobe like quest 3, 4080 super, 7800x3d, 64gb RAM. using virtual desktop. not sure what setting can/should be changed to fix this,. it looks even worse inside the headset, its very much like a veryn bright strobe. and the deck lights are also too bright Edited January 22 by ax2212 1

Thanks - turned bloom off. its slightly improved. but now i noticed theres a thread on this issue over in the supercarrier bugs. might be related to the recent update. they turned up the lights which might have helped our 2D friends...might have hurt VR users Edited January 23 by ax2212
