CrackerJack Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I've been away from DCS for more than a year and want to get back into it. Will the regular update procedure be OK? or should I do a new install? If I have to do a new install is there a way for me to keep all my controller mappings? Thanks Win 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700k@4.2GHz, MSI 1080Ti , 16 GB, 500GB SSD, LG 34UM95, Acer T232HL, TrackIR 5 Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

Thanks Do as Max said, but I suggest adding your DCS program path to your Antivirus exclusion list, as lately many DCS files are wrongly deleted by the AV. Every AV support exclusions but their details differ, for example this is the exclusion configuration for Microsoft Defender (the most common AV out there, many users do not even know that they have it active). Do this before doing the update. 2 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
MAXsenna Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Yeah, very good point from @Rudel_chw ! Absolutely add exclusions or you will run into trouble! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
