HR-Crumble Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I have noticed that on all maps and regardless of size of miz file that gets created, complexity or mods or not that over time (a few hours) the mission editor gets very laggy. Laggy to scroll, laggy to zoom, saving is laggy and copy 'n' pasta literally makes the blue wheel spin. Have confirmed with some squads mates this is the same across different systems. Anyone else?

Today I just closed a 2 hour mission editing session (for the MiG-21 on the Sinai map) and didn't find any laggyness, maybe it needs to be longer? I’m finding its worse on Syria map and the most lagging comes from using the multi select tool and copy and pasting. Even just a few units causes lag. If I restart DCS then the lag goes and then builds up again over time. There is nothing standing out in my logs.

Maybe that's it, I'm not using the copy/paste tool yet as I found its use a bit cumbersome and non-intuitive. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
