skypickle Posted January 14 Posted January 14 In the HOTAS chapter of the A10CII training, the instructor goes through interacting with a JTAC. Although I can check in with the JTAC, there are no further communications from him. The advisories that are supposed to occer in the messages panel never happen, the target advisory with the triangle never appears in the TAD. 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
Yurgon Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) I just ran the mission in the current DCS version 2.9.11.4686 and it worked fine for me, the JTAC went through the entire workflow. I noticed that the JTAC-frequency given at the beginning of the mission is off (the message reads "113 MHz", but the radio is set to 133 MHz instead, and 133 MHz is also the correct frequency for the JTAC). Did you change the frequency? And are you sure you always used Mic Switch Forward to communicate with the JTAC? The pop-up radio-menu should read "VHF AM (ARC-210)" on the top line above "Main" (or the recipient's callsign). If it reads anything else on the top line, the JTAC can't hear you. A track would be useful to help debug the issue if it persists. Edit: I've filed a report for the wrong frequency, hopefully this'll be fixed with a future patch. Edited January 15 by Yurgon 1
