What is the proper CURRENT install procedure?

Hey all,

 

Just wondering if anyone can give me the EXACT install procedure for lock on FC.

 

I have Lock on on disc, FC downloaded and the patches somewhere. I want to get back into the sim so I'm hoping someone can help

It's been a while but....

1 install Vanilla Lockon

2 Install FC

3 Then 1.12

 

As I said I haven't installed in years, but I'm fairly certain thats the procedure.

Really? Man I haven't played in over two years so I thought there might have been an update or something. So is this really all there is to it? No other patches? No other add ons? Anyone else have any opinions?

Make sure you launch the game right after installing FC, or rather. Activate the starforce stuff, I believe it won't work if you patch to 1.12 directly without having activated it.

Ahhhhh a familiar face. Still have your buck cherry vid GA. Did I miss it? No, like I said, haven't played in years. :)

The basic install procedures are as mentioned.

There are multiple mods that really add to the sim. There are specific instructions on the order they need to be installed. I would do a bit of research on this. You can really change the game a good bit for the better.
