Mission 3 AI Friendly Fire

So........ get 2 hours into this mission and my own wingman shoots me down with a Fox 3???  I am not replaying this.  Anything exciting happen on the way back after the Black Sharks are destroyed?  This is the second time I have gotten shot down by an AI F16 in a long campaign mission.   The other was in an A-10 on Persian Freedom.   Please tell me I am not the only one having this happen.... Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

Reflected can't do anything about AI limitations.

I’m aware he can’t.   Just seeing if anything else interesting happens in this mission.

Haha  10/4.   Limited time to fly sometimes so gotta make that call if I move on in the story or replay.   I hate not completing a mission all the way, so I’ll probably give it another go as I am still learning the F16 anyway and it’s more flight time.  And getting shot down like that is truly bad luck lol.

I think it happened to me once during all of the testing. It's weird because I cannot make an AI shoot down a friendly in the mission editor, and consequently I cannot prevent the AI either. It's something that should be brought to ED's attention with a track.

Then again, it's not entirely unheard of in the real world either.

I think what happened is he shot at the Black Shark and I was right next to it.   The AMRAAM went after me instead, nothing I could do.   I was slow and out of options
