john4pap Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I'm getting back to the Viggen after several years and been testing the KB pod. I loaded two, set 3 on the left dial and 4 on the right which is the combination for initiating the fourth program. It's not working. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Also, the manual states that the automatic release program is currently not working in dcs. I haven't tested it yet but I think it used to some seven years ago. Is this the case? Do you maybe have a track or a .miz you could upload? This is what the manual says. That's very odd. They seem to have changed the manual yet the version remains the same. I was using version RC2.1 from August 31st 2023 whereas the current is, again, version RC2.1 from November 12th 2024. And the instructions re how to set program 4 are indeed different. Read the flight manual And yes, there was a major rework on the KB code a few months ago, which required some changes to the manual as well. Always grab the latest and hottest manual here: Why there? Because HB and ED are simply not fast enough in uploading a new manual to the builds. This has to do with the general update strategy the companies are using, and I usually tend to update at least every 3-4 weeks, or when important changes in the manual are pending. At least I got to update my manual out of this. I did try it yesterday and program 4 works like a charm. I don't know what I did the first time when I thought I had tried the 0-4 combination.I also noticed that the page re automatic dispense has been greyed out now which I understand means that they're not planning implementing it. Do you know what's going on with that? Engine limitation perhaps?I see that the Viggen is in a better state than it used to be years ago.
