phant Posted February 8 Posted February 8 WWII Pacific Pack We are making steady progress on our upcoming Pacific Theatre of Operations for DCS. We are also working hard on a historic and immersive asset pack that will provide a wealth of legendary AI aircraft, ground, and naval assets that defined a pivotal chapter in WWII history. We’ve been creating a large PTO assets pack including the SBD-5 Dauntless dive bomber, A6M5 Zero, Nakajima B6N Jill torpedo bomber and D4Y Judy dive bomber for the Imperial Japanese Navy. Naval operations will naturally form a critical aspect of Operation Forager and we’ve been developing many vessels spread over different types. For the USN we have the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, Iowa-class battleship, Cleveland-class light cruiser, and Fletcher-class destroyer, and for the IJN we have the Shokaku aircraft carrier, Yugumo-class destroyer, Kongo battleship, and Mogami cruiser currently. As the ground battles between the US Marine Corps and the Imperial Japanese Army raged furiously across Saipan, Guam, and Tinian, we’ll be including multiple tanks, amphibious vehicles, artillery, anti-aircraft, guns, and infantry. We are planning more aircraft such as the SB2C Helldiver, TBF Avenger, and Catalina for the USN and the D3A Val and B5N Kate for the Japanese. All these and a substantial number of other assets and AI units will be available in the DCS: WWII Pacific Pack. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Sono SEI ANNI e forse più che questo modulo è stato annunciato e sono almeno tre anni che sembra sul punto di ucire e poi nulla.... secondo molti era dovuto al fatto che mancava uno scenario confacente a tale mezzo orala ED lo dovrebbe rilasciare, SI SPERA quindi che sto benedetto Corsair venga rilasciato, ED o non ED a produrlo cambia poco.

Se invece non ci sta nessun annuncio dalla M3, basterà aspettare che esca la mappa e l'asset pack della ED e si capirà se era vero o se banalmente non lo avevano ancora finito. Speriamo sia come dici tu, però francamente che una SH tenga fermo tre anni (3) un prodotto in attesa di qualcos'altro mi fa pensare... potrei capire un delay di 6 mesi o giù di lì, tre anni meno. Preferisco che il A6M sia fatto da ED per una miriade di motivi (che anche voi sapete) Se il A6M e' gia presente come AI vuol dire che la struttura dell'aereo e' gia a buon punto ? oppure se devono farlo full fidelity devono fare tutto da capo e quindi e come non avere niente in mano ? chiedo perche' non ho idea...
