xsnrg Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Definitely same bug as smoke in Raven One mission 2 or 3 I reported. ------------------- At the start of Mission 14 there's an immediate refuel. Flip tells Olive to go first. She hooks up and never detached. Same problem as in the Raven One campaign Mission 2or3? (Don't remember which but I reported it and you fixed it. Where Smoke endlessly refueled. Seems like the same bug. Edited February 18 by xsnrg

Jakes Posted March 12 Posted March 12 @xsnrg I flew this one tonight, no issue. Olive refueled normally outbound. Just had an issue on RTB but that has been reported. Could you try the following steps and see if any help: The No.1 Rule with DCS Campaigns... If you have ANY mod that is NOT purchased from the DCS Store, it will probably cause issues. SRS and OpenKneeboard(Mostly VR users) seem to be ok, as we test these missions using both. Make sure to remove any and all mods before flying campaigns. (Check out OVGME, I use it daily and it works well) If you have no mods, or if removing all mods still does not fix the issue, take the following steps(Test after each step): 1) Delete fxo and metashaders2 folders in your saved games. Can get gummed up with old files. 2) Rename you DCS Saved Games folder, run DCS and let it create a new one. Close DCS and then just copy the Config folder from the old to the new so you don't lose your bindings and also copy your logbook.lua from saved games mission editor folder, that way you don't lose campaign progress. (Some mods can write to places like your scripts folder in your saved games location as an example. Also seems to help sometimes even if you never run mods at all) 3) Do a full deep repair of DCS to clear up any unwanted stuff in your main game folder. Some settings to check: 1) If you have easy comms enabled, disable it. 2) Under Gameplay options, make sure the tick box on the bottom right for "No force from mission, use mine" is NOT ticked. 3) Try disabling TacView under special options. It can cause issues, usually performance, that can lead to bugs if your cores are overloaded/too busy and it misses a trigger point due to that. Any landing that doesn't require the jaws of life....is a good landing...
xsnrg Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 I finally had some time to get back to you on this sorry about that. I noticed in the update patch notes just after I posted this that ED mentioned AI refueling fixed in some scenarios. I was curious if it may have been fixed. I did try this again (several times) and it is indeed fixed. I believe the patch actually fixed the issue. But..... If you could try to tank after Olive finishes. The tanker disconnects after about 1000lbs of fuel, every time. The tanker seems to just go off station because it doesn't rtb, it continues on course but all the tanker options are gone.
baltic_dragon Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The AAR is a curse of this game. I am trying to remove the Olive refueling completely from this one, but now she refuses to follow player afterwards, which is another new bug introduced recently... xsnrg Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 Not sure if it's actually helpful, but I waited until the switch to departure call and I called the tanker first and everything worked. There was still the 'you go first" and "your turn flip" but it worked.
baltic_dragon Posted April 9 Posted April 9 We're trying to sort this one out, there are some issues with AAR in recent builds of DCS - something that comes back every few patches (sigh).
