We are really missing a MOD with TALIBAN, ISIS troops, and civilians to liberate.

Now, with maps of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, we could create very interesting scenarios with this type of MOD. The INSURGENT MOD is great, but it lacks diversity, and that's really missing.

Is there any modder project currently in progress that goes in this direction?

More infantry models, IEDs and such would be a great addition to the technicals. On top of insurgent assets, we need slingable assets for helos (vehicles, fuel bladders, zodiacs, and artillery). I have faith in the mod community to fill in all of the gaps left by ED.
