Flogger23m Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Currently have HOTAS DMS forward & HOTAS DMS aft mapped two a keyboard & HOTAS button to control targetting pod zoom, though I would like to map this to an axis. Would this be possible, and if so, how do I go about mapping it? I was able to map the targetting pod zoom to an axis for the F-16C and it works so much better as I have a slider on my X52Pro throttle that works as a zoomable axis.

The Data Management Switch is a 4-way switch and every switch direction is either depressed or not depressed. You might be able to get the desired result with the software for your particular hardware. Thrustmaster definitely allows axes to be mapped to keyboard keys with its software, so as far as DCS is concerned, the input is still a single keypress, not an axis. I assume Saitek might be able to do that as well, or maybe 3rd party software like Joystick Gremlin or Joy2Key might be able to help you out. 2
