I came across an thought when I flew the 64 that honestly suprises me that I haven't posted here before. It would be awesome If you could have "modes" for A/C Controls and sensor controls. Like as the CPG on the Apache I have my flight stick as the TADS controls, cause I like the higher definition and I rarely fly front seat. But it would be great If you could easily switch these, while still having the same amount of curvature and those settings.

This is possible through the use of a key switch.  You can use the same switch to not only modify control axes but all buttons on your controllers as well.  Using a switch will let you have 2 discrete sets of control mappings bound to a single set of controls.  In the case of the Apache, you can use an external macro to combine the CP/G's "request control" function with the switch to one key.

I'm using a Stream Deck to do this and it works great.  When I jump into the front seat, my HOTAS is controlling the TEDAC by default.  If I press a single key on the Stream Deck, I take control of the helicopter and the mapping switches to what I typically use in the back seat.

An Xbox style controller works great for the TEDAC since it’s basically a game controller 😁

It requires two modifier buttons to get everything in it plus an app like JoyToKey to get the triggers to function as key presses. But it works great.
