there is behavioral difference between damage models of a10c vs a10cii. the former model behaves somewhat believable. when shot with 37mm cannon of mig15 from rear aspect, damage is catastrophic.

the latter model eats 37mms like miki sudo eating hotdogs.

Hello @bephanten

We took some time testing the DCS: A-10C and the DCS:A-10CII being hit by several different rounds, from different aircraft, including the mentioned DCS: Mig-15 Bis cannon, and we couldn't identify any particular receiving damage difference between to two models.

Bullet impact can be quite tricky to replicate on the airframes, given that we cannot hit exactly the same place consistently. However, we tested several angles and aimed at different locations (centre mass, wings, engines) and found both models very similar in damage resistance against different rounds. In one engagement, one seemed to be marginally more resistant than the other, but on the next session it would be other way around.

In the end, it was our conclusion that you claim that the DCS: A-10CII is more damage resistant than the DCS: A-10C wasn't proven.
Of course, we want to ear more from you if you can substantiate your claims with some more evidence from your side.
